Vanderbilt Music Company is located in the beautiful town of Bloomington Indiana, the home of Indiana University. Bloomington is about an hour south of Indianapolis on Indiana Highway 37. Our hours are 9:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday (Eastern Time). • From Indianapolis take 37 south to Bloomington. Take the College Avenue exit south through downtown Bloomington to 3rd Street (about 5 miles). Turn left on 3rd street and continue through five lights (about two miles). Please note that at the third light, 3rd Street curves around and turns into Atwater Avenue. The fifth light is Jordan Avenue. Continue through this light on Atwater Avenue to Swain Avenue which is the first street past Jordan Avenue. Turn left on Swain Avenue. • From Louisville take 65 north toward Columbus, Indiana. At Columbus take 46 west to Bloomington (about 45 minutes). Once in Bloomington, you will see a large mall on the left called College Mall. Just past the mall there is a large intersection where 46 turns north (or right). Do not follow 46 at this point. Continue straight and you will be on 3rd Street. You will pass through two more lights and then 3rd street will turn into a one-way street. Swain Avenue is the first street on the left after 3rd street turns one way.  If possible, get into the left lane immediately and turn left onto Swain Avenue, just before the sign for "Mac Grill."  Vanderbilt Music is in the strip mall ahead on your right.  If you miss the turn onto Swain, you can drive around the block.  Continue on 3rd street to the next light which is Jordan avenue and turn left. Take the next left which is Atwater. Turn left on Swain Avenue, which is the first street past Jordan. Vanderbilt is located in the strip mall on the left. Our address is 312A South Swain Avenue.
